PILATES
Pilates is a mind body conditioning exercise programme that targets the deep postural muscles of the abdomen and spine
to improve overall central core stability and posture.
Pilates is appropriate for those who are recovering from an injury as well as those wanting to help prevent recurrence
and improve function. Our Pilates Instructors are APPI qualified Physiotherapists and teach modified Pilates
appropriate from those with chronic pain to elite athletes. Pilates is an adjunct to physical therapy, osteopathic
techniques, rehab and sports training.
Pilates instruction is currently run on a 1:1 basis or as a class and this can vary from beginners to the
experienced. The classes are sold in blocks of six and cost £8 per hour with a maximum of 6 per class.
