Foot Types
Normal
The heel and fore foot rest in the correct position relative to the ground.
This positions the lower leg ,knee cap, hip joint and spine in a stress free manner.
Over Pronated/Flat Foot
The heel is skewed outwards making the ankle roll in. This is a vulnerable position
as it negatively influences bony alignment above leading to all sorts of injuries.
Orthoses and Ski foot beds greatly enhance the performance of this foot and with a
high rate of injury resolution.
Under Pronated / Supinated/ High Arched Foot
The heel tilts outwards, forcing the ankle to tip. This unevenly distributes pressure
over the foot. It can affect the big toe joint and the outside border exposing it to
over loading. This increases the risk of injury.
